On Sunday, July 9th, the Crown Heights Community Mediation Center took part in Project Care’s second annual One Crown Heights Festival at Brower Park. The festival works to build and foster community relationships within the neighborhood through art, music, and games. Over 3,500 people showed up to the Brooklyn Children’s Museum and Brower Park to enjoy the music, activities, and games.
The Crown Heights Community Mediation Center facilitated an interactive activity, where kids drew their vision of Crown Heights, played games of Jenga, and partnered with Repair the World to create balloon animals for kids. Information on the CHCMC projects was also distributed, as well as flyers for our upcoming events. Check out photos from the event below!
