no-article-hot-off-pressMay was a busy month for the Crown Heights Community Mediation Center! The Annual Kingston Ave Festival and the Arts to End Violence Gallery Opening gathered hundreds of community members and supporters to celebrate music, art, and community building. The S.O.S. Clergy Action Network partnered with CAMBA and the School for Democracy and Leadership to host the Second Annual “Increase the Peace” Community Youth Symposium, featuring a full day of interactive workshops and entertainment to support families, children and teens to navigate violence and other community challenges. Additionally, YO S.O.S. concluded the 2014-2015 program year and was featured in a video series by Brooklyn Independent Media leading up to the June 17th “Youth #BHeard” Town Hall.
