In celebration of Immigrant Heritage Week, The CUNY Citizenship and Immigration Project is presenting Citizenship Now! a Five-Borough Citizenship Application Assistance Day. This event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 11:00am-3:00pm. The event will provide free legal assistance to help lawful permanent residents apply for naturalization. Five simultaneous events will be held at locations in each New York City borough. The event is sponsored by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA), and the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD).
