On Saturday December 12, S.O.S. Clergy Action Network joined Beulah Church of the Nazarene for their Christmas in Crown Heights Caroling Excursion. This event was an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of the holidays safely as a community, and to remember those who lost their lives to gun violence this past year.
Over 150 community members, including Assemblywoman Diana Richardson and Councilmember Laurie Cumbo, gathered to sing Christmas carols on a peace walk around the neighborhood. The march ended in front of Beulah Church where community members enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies as they watched the lighting of four trees adorned with ornaments made by students at PS 292.
