Hey good people!

In honor of Black History Month, the Crown Heights Community Mediation Center, Save Our Streets and Camba will be holding a Black History Month Festival on February 24th and we would like to invite the community to celebrate with us. Join us as we celebrate the Black Americans and African Diaspora who have and continue to contribute to our nation, and pave the way to racial justice.

There’ll be different activities and games to keep everyone of all ages entertained. Learn how to do some protective hairstyles with head wraps, paint the next greatest art piece at our art station, show us your knowledge with Black History jeopardy, and more! There will be music, food, and fun for everyone, so come on by and celebrate black excellence with us.
The festival will be located at Camba’s Cornerstone at Albany Houses 164 Troy Ave and will be held on Saturday, February 24th from 2-5pm. If you’re interested in volunteering, or just want more information, feel free to contact us at info@crownheights.org. We hope to see you there!
